Essence
Plants are not background to human life. They are among its oldest companions in nourishment, medicine, shelter, and meaning.
The Opening Scroll
Codex Sanitas Viridis explores the relationship between humans and the plant world — not only through herbs, but through the broader question of how botanicals have long supported health, survival, comfort, recovery, and daily life.
Plants have always stood close to the human story. They have fed, soothed, healed, protected, flavoured, scented, clothed, and accompanied us across cultures and centuries. Yet modern life often distances people from this relationship, reducing the green world either to decoration, commodity, or folklore stripped of context.
This codex exists to examine green health with steadier eyes — neither as trend nor as mystique alone, but as a serious and living field of inquiry. It makes room for tradition, observation, preparation, evidence, caution, and the quiet restoration of botanical literacy.
Over time, Codex Sanitas Viridis may deepen into plant records, green health scrolls, practical notes, preparation methods, garden relationships, and the study of how humans may live more intelligently in relation to the botanical world. For now, it stands open as a clear beginning.
