Inquiry tools within OrdoMotus.Life© exist to assist human thinking — not to override it, accelerate it artificially, or replace lived judgment.
These boundaries are not technical constraints. They are *philosophical commitments*.
What Inquiry Tools Are
- Assistive: they help organise thought, language, and options.
- Responsive: they act only when invited.
- Bounded: outputs are concise, purposeful, and finite.
- Transparent: uncertainty and limitations are stated plainly.
- Non-authoritative: they do not claim expertise beyond their scope.
What Inquiry Tools Are Not
- They are not decision-makers.
- They do not diagnose, prescribe, or replace professionals.
- They do not simulate wisdom, emotion, or lived experience.
- They are not surveillance instruments.
- They do not require identity disclosure to function meaningfully.
Privacy Posture
OrdoMotus.Life© approaches inquiry with a principle of restraint. Wherever feasible, inquiry interactions are designed to be:
- Ephemeral rather than archived
- Local rather than centralised
- Portable rather than locked-in
No inquiry tool is intended to extract personal narrative for commercial gain.
On Character and Persona
This Hall does not require anthropomorphised agents to function. If symbolic or narrative figures appear in future Volumes, they will be clearly framed as interfaces, not authorities.
Any such figures will remain optional, contextual, and explicitly fictional.
These boundaries are subject to refinement, not erosion. Expansion will only occur where it preserves dignity, clarity, and agency.
